Pharmaceutical Wet Granulation and Dust Removal System: Efficient Dust Control for Safe Production
I. Purpose:
The machine is a special equipment which mixes wet powder to form granules forcibly by screens under the positive and negative rotation of rotating roller.
The machine is used to produce granules with different sizes in pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry, food industry and other industries. After drying, these granules can be pressed into various shaped products. The machine is also used to grind dry lumpy materials.

III. Working principle and structure feature:
1. Working principle:
Under the action of the eccentric crankshaft and the lifting rack, the movement of motor and triangular belt-wheel drives the seven-angle hob cutter on the gear shaft to make a periodic reciprocating rotation. The materials are ground constantly and granules with different sizes are controlled and discharged by screen mesh and rotor gap.
When grinding dry materials, the lumpy materials are ground in the roller made of seven-angle cutter and the dry materials are forced to discharge through the screen.
2. Structure feature:
①The hopper and granulating device are designed in accordance with the principles of easy installation, cleaning and usage. The parts contacting with materials are made of stainless steel, which ensures cleaning of finished product.
②All parts of the granulating device are sealed completely to prevent the lubricating oil from mixing into materials.
③The screen clamp tube is used to clamp the screen to ensure that the screen gets close to the rotating roller tightly. The hand wheel adjusts the tightness of the screen mesh and the wheel jaws lock the well-adjusted screen clamp tube.
④Customers can select corresponding screen to produce granules with different sizes according to product requirements.
IV. Installation and adjustment:
1. When the machine is in place, it should be placed smoothly and grounded.
2. After opening the box cover, add the lubricating oil into the reducer.
3. When the machine is testing, it should be noted whether there is abnormal noise in the operation. If the machine makes a noise, stop the machine running in time to check it for removing faults.
4. When installing the screen, the screen should get close to end covers tightly in order to prevent from powder-leakage.
5. Before operating, check whether fasteners of machine parts are loose.
6. The machine should idle for 3-5 minutes, and the materials are fed for production after normal operation. When feeding materials, the materials fed should be too much, and about 2/3 of the volume is appropriate.
V. Maintenance and technical security:
1. The lubricating oil inside the reducer and the lubricating grease of the rolling axel inner cavity should be replaced regularly.
2. All parts producing granules should be wiped cleanly.
3. To ensure the lubricating condition of the worm gear inside the reducer, the gear box temperature should be less than 50 degrees in the operation.
4. The oil sealing of the worm shaft end should be checked and replaced regularly.
5. The machine must be reliably grounded, and its grounding resistance should be less than or equal to 4Q.
6. The electric appliance should be dismantled optionally.
